The suite expands the communication range of LAN connections. It integrates a messenger into a selected local network and sends encrypted messages. The software supports extended and simple views resembling ICQ and MSN content. There is a group chat option.

Winpopup LAN Messenger is an intranet messaging solution for Windows. This application works like a charm and you do not need to have your computers connected to the Internet. It allows any two users (or more) to establish a connection even when they don't know each other's IP address. Thanks to its DCHP capabilities, chatting with people on the same network becomes very easy. With File Transfer support, files can be sent from peer to peer. That means that files never leave the network, so they are secure. Installing the messenger is pretty easy. By simply installing the client application on every computer of the network, users can start chatting out-of-the-box. If you choose to go with a Server installation, offline messages become available. When a user is no longer online, you will still be able to send him messages that he will see the next time he connects to Winpopup LAN Messenger. The program's interface is intuitive and simple. On the right you will see a list of connected users and there are two boxes where you can write your messages and see what others are writing.
